Ajay urf Akshay Kumar if I have to take a rebirth as Baby, it would be only for you, you & you… One does not need a complex or an emotional story to win the hearts. A superb combination of action, thrill, patriotism, sacrifices, emotions, junoon, on the edge of the seat experience, and a nail biting finish; is all it takes for a flawless creation like BABY.
Neeraj Pandey, a man of minute detailing, knowledge, does informative & crisp execution. He impressed us by his work in Wednesday & Special 26, but through Baby, he has set a benchmark of world class cinema & became a Master of films on Terrorism.
Proved a point to an industry that a commonly used the concept of Terrorist attacks & ATS if executed in dramatic to the point without any frills of masala entertainment but in depth detailing will surely be a gainer of many hearts in the audiences. His detailing is so minute that the civic sense is also incorporated in the film.
Akshay Kumar with his best performance was brilliant as an undercover cop in every bit of blood & frame. Proving one has to live for his Country rather than dying for the false religious ambitions.
Every actor played a phenomenal part in delivering the best even if the act was small. Danny Denzongpa stole the show of a Chief. His attitude, charisma, even at this age, made the silver-screen shine brightly.
Anupam Kher, Kay Kay, Rana Daggubati, Madhurima Tuli, Tapsee Pannu, Mikaal Zulfikaar, Murli Sharma and many more made their presence felt.
A special mention has to be made about its Cinematographer Sudhir Chatterjee. What a capture of scenes in the mystic beautiful parts of Nepal & desserts in Al-Dera! Every frame comes to life in front of our eyes.
Hats off to a superbly shot self-defence scene between a lady & a man with every required detailing from hair tying, jumps to stunts, it just made me proud of being a woman who also teaches the same.
A chord between a understanding wife & a husband who is always in conferences touches the heart. It is so beautifully shown that it’s the presence of our man being alive in any part of the world gives hopes to live. “Marna Mat” is just she wants from him. Neeraj Pandey you were so precise in showcasing the innocence of emotions here.
Baby would not have been so entertaining without state of art editing, not a single blackout thus keeping the pace & holding the grip of the film. Editing and Background Score is an icing on the cake & appropriate mix of music.
No religion or a terrorist has a power to destroy United India… We may be different in colour… caste… languages… religion but in Capital & Bold… We are first INDIANS.
Dare to destroy our integrity & peace. We can produce many “BABY”. Jai Hind.
Thrumyeyes…
