Anjusha Chaughule's Self Defence and Empowerment Program
In this decade and age of grave crimes against women, Anjusha Chaughule's ambition was clear. She chose to become a voice for lakhs of oppressed women suffering through domestic abuse, mental harassment, molestations and counselling victims of all ages and classes.
She took up the challenge of teaching and empowering women to protect them through her self-defence program.
Her ultimate goal is to change the mindset of Indian women to stop thinking about her as a victim, low esteem soul & question her livelihood. Her straight forward outlook towards social causes & awareness lead her to be tackle many strong issues on live television Debates.. Thus reaching out to every corner of this land.
Highlights
● Solo workshop designer and trainer of a cause “Nirbhaya Safety Drive” which was carried out by Maharashtra Police, initiative by past Commissioner of Police Railway Dr Ravindra Singal.
● Self-Defence program conducted for schools, colleges, universities, corporates (CSR), NGO.
● More than one lakh girls/women have been taught with self-defence program.
● In association with Rotary Club, Self-defence is carried out from 140 clubs across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.
● Articles on self-defence featured in leading newspapers across the country such as the Times of India, DNA, and the Indian Express etc.

Self defence & empowerment program gets new dimension with the mention of her work & name in July's monsoon session of legislative assembly by MLA Vidya Chavan. A meeting with Hon. Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis & Hon. Education Minister Mr Vinod Tawde gives new hope to empowerment. A mission towards woman's right to safety & gender equality will see new dawn - Rape Mukt Maharashtra.
