Tamasha

Once upon a time there used to be Tamasha. It is not a film but an experience; it can only be felt by those who are insane & mad. One has to be abnormal to understand the matured soul of Tamasha. This film is not for the common masses, those who cannot relate to the pain & agony of a creative soul.

Though the film has a very slow start it grows on you frame by frame. In similar way when a person who gives you moments grows on you days after days, years after years the feeling which one cannot express but can only feel than even one passionate kiss is enough to make you stay with that person for years to come.

In few moments of being together there is a connection & a feeling you know everything about this person, you learn so much that you carry the person with you in your thoughts & imagination till you are faced with the reality in days & years to come.

The reality which shows the mirror of you being a changed person or being unjust to yourself by living a life not meant for you or it helps you to rebuild yourself of all your dreams & ambitions. The journey would be difficult from a common man to a creator filled with rebel, anger, pain & confusion. Ultimately one either believes in the connection to be evolved or simply go back to the routine life.

Ranbir & Deepika have beautifully portrayed this journey & lit the silver screen with their sizzling chemistry. Indeed two exes’ can really make a perfect pair making the real couples go weak longing for more. A much matured cinema which deals with aura, connections, heart, desires, ambitions & falling prey to the vicious cycle of routine life is well crafted by Imtiyaz Ali…

The director’s vision in this film shows his richness, blessings & experiences of being evolved as a person thru the journey called life. The emotions of being a stalker, crazy shy feelings of meeting again, the growing fondness due to increased distance, the maturity to let go & evolved as a grown up were key aspects of your direction.

Some brilliant messages were conveyed. Memories are always unplanned so one should be open to accept when it knocks on your door without being judgemental. How beautiful it is to be with someone without knowing their name, past, present, future & experience what is coming your way probably it is beyond your imagination. The screenplay & script should have been tight but it was well compensated with the music of AR Rahman.

Tamasha is a story of many storytellers like you and me who believed to be different, insane, walking alone against the millions of clouds & to experience love in memories & aura…
Every man & woman falls in love but to experience unconditional love that creates Tamasha, one has surely done something right…
