Tanu weds Manu Returns

The real love stories are not those lived in our teens & twenties… but the ones we start living after getting married or a failed marriage. The charm of having these love stories is far more romantic than the one we lived as a boy & a girl.

‪Aanand Rai you were spot on showing the real mess of love marriages going wrong & beauty of getting connected out of the box to someone in the first go. Brilliantly showcased journey of emotions as a colourful dream coming true on the silver screen…

The two shades, an eccentric wife who is not ready to be a woman & a focused sporty haryanavi jat not so ready for romance but takes a plunge when her heart overpowers the mind is dazzlingly illustrated by the Queen of Bollywood ‪Kangana Ranaut.

The damsel in distress Tanu is always in power to woe many men by her antics & being called the batman of her moolah. While the lovable, soft mannered but bravely blunt Datto is my choice of being a woman of today who has courage to act & speak her mind in a heavy haryanavi accent.

‪R Madhavan you were genius & blazingly accomplished the role of under rated Manu, it takes courage to play a second fiddle when cast opposite a talented characters of Tanu & Datto.  He was very well supported by his best friend Pappi urf ‪Deepak Dobriyal who created laughter mania with his perfect timing. All characters are the winning factor of this film.

The film moved in front of our eyes like a flowing river with twist & turns, emotional ups & downs, flashing the cool droplets of dialogues & rhythm of songs well integrated with the scenes… This credit must be given to the dialogue & screenplay writer ‎Himanshu Sharma.

The cinematographer ‪Chirantan Das has captured the essence of small towns well connected with the emotions of the characters. The music & background score by ‪Krsna Solo has cheered the audiences to dance & whistle while watching the film.

For all those who swear by the word Bollywood. This film is a real treat to our souls… Aanand Rai you know the perfect hit formula of how to make love stories based in small towns. But I differ with the end, why always a strong hearted woman has to sacrifice her love to the woman who plays with the men.

The strong girls don’t showcase their emotions in front of all & hence are taken granted by the men for being tough. Due now the men should deserve to get trapped into the eccentric & antics of so called women.

Kusum & the women like her, it takes guts to give up your love & stand for oneself.
Not all men are fortunate to have a love like Kusum, it needs a man with a brave heart to accept a strong woman as these women are not an option for your temporary desires.

Aanand Rai you should have done justice to Kusum in the end, letting out a message that eccentricity also has to pay a price. But then it is a Bollywood cinema & you have played your cards correctly. Tanu weds Manu Returns will make history of its kind…
Thrumyeyes…
